Waveform Technology now provides on-net, blended bandwidth at the Detroit / Southfield Equinix facility and other select Detroit area data centers.  Southfield Equinix is a carrier neutral data center, allowing customers to order bandwidth from the provider of their choice, and now Switch and Data customers can take advantage of Waveform Technology's high quality, multi-homed bandwidth.  

Waveform bandwidth is superior bandwidth and appropriate for any application.  Switch and Data bandwidth customers use Waveform’s high-speed Metro-Detroit Fiber Optic network.  We pick up our upstreams directly at their respective PoP (points of Presence), freeing us from relying on their backhaul transport.  Waveform utilizes a combination of Layer 1 ring protection and Layer 3 BGP4 IP protection, which give us the ability to heal around network problems.  

Waveform’s bandwidth is dependable because we maintain multiple upstreams.  Carrier interruptions are not passed down because data has multiple paths to travel on.  Our Southfield Switch and Data bandwidth customers are also protected from carrier disputes.
